Not just another, ‘Another place’ shot from Crosby beach, although I can see a couple when large, along with the wind turbines, but I couldn’t help taking a snap of a couple of what I could only describe as sand sculptures that had been left, I was pretty impressed.
I've done a bit more tweaking than I usually do to get the image something like the way I want it, hope that's ok.
We've just been across to the east coast of England, Bridlington, rain, Scarborough, rain and Hull got soaked, the weather wasn’t kind, so I remembered the sun shine on Crosby beach.
We've had such a mild 'winter' so far, but today I managed to take a trip down to the beach, see what I could snap, near got blown off my feet for my trouble, a runner much fitter, larger etc. than me actually did.. ouch... time for a sharp exit.
Anyway I thought this snap of my daughter blowing dandelions from a while back made me feel warmer.
Hope you are all doing good.
Have a great weekend.

Another from down the beach at Crosby, most of my pictures from here of late have had the Anthony Gormley 'Another Place' statues out of view or as secondary features, but they are responsible for pulling in a quantity of photographers and tourists. They are made iron and each is slowly developing a personality over time, each spending more or less time in the water, some are clean, some have a skin of rust and others are covered in barnacles.
Here's another taking a shallow paddle in the reflected light of a sunset, before taking a dip in the evening tide.

A shot from my muddy boots evening at Crosby beach last year.
Have pushed the processing to bring out a little more drama for this one, I like the contrast of both colour and light, and the snake of water leading you out to sea with the windfarm to the right of frame, hope you find it agreeable.
Have a great day.
On the way home yesterday evening, grey on grey, not too much to recover in full colour.
In shot pylons leading upto Fiddlers ferry coal powered power station, two of the eight huge cooling towers and the steam.
Thanks for looking.
A shot from a little while back from the beach, so I've gone past saying sorry for Another place shots, but the windturbines must come a close second for taking centre stage in shots that I upload, but I find something magical about them when they are spinning.
Thanks for looking.

Another 'Another place' ironman shot from Crosby beach.
Here two of the 100 ironmen with a mile marker between, and the distant hills of Wales for a backdrop.
Shot this evening, there was a fire up in Hightown, the grass looked as if it was on fire??... anybody know more?
Fred the weather man says that we might be able to see the northen lights this evening, something to watch out for....
Thanks for viewing.
